About Me

Originally from London, I have taught across the primary age-range in a career that has now spanned six international schools in five countries over twenty years. Before embarking on a career in international education, I taught in the UK. I have worked predominantly as classroom teacher but have also as spent time as subject specialist for PYP Music and PE. I began teaching the PYP in Tanzania in 2001. I am currently a Grade 4 teacher at an International School in India.

I am a PYP Workshop leader, a role which enables me to continue to grow and develop as an educator. I am keen to share and learn about best practice including recent research of how to be an effective inquiry teacher in an IB PYP school. As part of my IBEN role I am also a school visitor assisting schools in moving forward in their IB journeys.

I am proud to be a Seesaw Ambassador this year and will be offering a Seesaw introduction presentation in the 2018 Learning Hub at Stonehill International School.

I am also a Global Minecraft Mentor and look forward to finding meaningful ways to integrate Minecraft Education Edition into the inquiry classroom.

I thoroughly enjoy the constant challenge of aiming to provide a stimulating, creative and purposeful inquiry environment for my students and am passionate about the meaningful use of technology in the classroom.
