The Olympics are always fantastic to watch and I am glued to Rio at the moment. A new academic year is also approaching and I am currently setting up my classroom and preparing some learning provocations to begin a new school year.
As I watch the Olympics I can't help but find many teachable moments. Whether about the athletes and the results, the commentary and media coverage, the audience or the impact on Rio, the list is endless. Which is why I am asking for other teachers to contribute their highlights of the games.
